Meet the author, Daniel James BrownAn author of narrative nonfiction novels, Daniel James Brown was born and raised in California where he later attended school to obtain his degree in English. After doing so he returned to school for his Master of Arts Degree. Daniel was a professor of writing at both San Jose State University and Stanford. Since making the decision to become a technical writer and editor, he now considers himself a full time author. He currently resides in Washington State with his wife and two daughters. For a look into his life, he shares that “I live in the country outside of Seattle, Washington with my wife, two daughters, and an assortment of cats, dogs, chickens and honeybees. When I am not writing, I am likely to be birding, gardening, fly fishing, reading American history, or chasing bears away from the bee hives.”
